P1 have started their new topic ‘ Brr it’s Freezing’ with lots of hands on investigative fun. The children discovered their new theme by exploring discovery stations and piecing together clues. In play , they have been busy painting winter trees and weather symbols, creating snowmen by cutting and labelling circles with the letters of their names . P1 explored ice by freezing and painting water balloons as they melted. They also enjoyed making their own playdough and using it to build snowy creations . We have had a busy week!
