P3/4 are really enjoying their new topic on castles. We visited Castle Balfour to help us come up with some good adjectives to help us write a poem about an abandoned castle. When we returned to school we compiled a collection of good adjectives and nouns and then each child wrote their own acrostic poem. Mrs Black and Mrs McCrory were so impressed with the wonderful poems produced.
