Christmas Art

17th Dec 2020

P6 have managed to turn out a few pieces of Christmas Art over the past week. First it was working on a scene from the stable in Bethlehem where Jesus was born. Pupils had to cut out an image, then stick it on a black piece of A4 card and then decorate with chalk effects.

The next challenge consisted of creating Christmas baubles using stitch craft. It was very precise work and required plenty of concentration. All the baubles are now hanging in the compact Christmas tree situated in the classroom.

The last task involved glitter cardboard,  where pupils had to cut out a triangle, fold it in half and cut out little triangles to make a Christmas tree effect.
