P1 had a wonderful morning ‘ Ditching the Stabilisers’ in the sunshine ! The boys and girls who took part showed fantastic enthusiasm and a brilliant positive attitude as they developed their cycling skills.
A huge thank you to Mr Emerson , who kindly facilitated the programme. He provided clear instructions and excellent support throughout the, beginning by removing the stabilisers and pedals to help children find their balance . Once confidence grew, he carefully reintroduced the pedals . It was truly amazing to watch the children’s confidence build in such a short space of time .Mr Emerson also spoke to the whole class about bike safety , teaching us about the different parts of the bike. He even brought along two bikes from his shop , giving the rest of the class an opportunity to showcase their cycling skills .
Mrs Bogue and Mrs Bryans are incredibly proud of all the boys and girls for their effort and determination. A special thank you to all the wonderful parents and grandparents who came along to support - your encouragement made the morning even more special . 🚲☀️
