Fire Safety in P5

We had Ms Shauna McCrystal, a local firefighter come into P5 to discuss the importance of fire safety. 🚒🔥👩🏼‍🚒

She told us about STOP… 
S - Smoke alarms: We should have smoke alarms in our houses. 
T - Test smoke alarms: We should test our smoke alarms once a week. 
O - Obvious dangers: We should be careful of dangers around our homes like candles. 
P - Planning your escape: We should discuss with an adult how to get out of our house. 

We also really enjoyed learning about the fire trucks and how to become a firefighter.
