Humpty Dumpty and Incy Wincy Spider

In P1 we’ve been bringing classic nursery rhymes to life through hands on and imaginative play. Children explored construction play by building walls in different ways and crafting their own playdough Humpty Dumpties - who , of course, took a few dramatic tumbles! We also created beautiful artwork developing fine motor skills and creative expression . 

For Incy Wincy spider , we went on spider web hunts using magnifying glasses, discovering natures patterns up close. Back in the classroom , we used pipe cleaners and colanders to design our very own spider webs , blending creativity with problem solving .
