It has arrived! After lots of preparation, practicing and hoping (for good weather) our sports day finally arrived. We were met with colourful bunting, lanes painted and the PTFA kettle on the boil! And boy what a day we have all had! We ran, jumped, balanced, held onto our big wooden spoons, worked with our partners in the three legged race and the wheel barrow race and to finish off Mr Wilson’s now famous obstacle course!
Our excitement was bubbling when we headed down the field with our teachers. We were greeted by a sea of family and Moat friends. Then Mrs McConkey’s whistle blew and off we went…Ready Steady… We really enjoyed watching and encouraging our classmates and schoolmates in our many races, even our smaller siblings got to race! Then we cheered on the adults race. We have a lot of very proud boys and girls and parents/Grandparents your credibility is through the roof!
We have had the BEST day! Well done to all involved, a lot of lovely memories have been made 🤩
