We have had lots of fun in music club over the last 2 weeks.
In week 1, we listened to lots of different music and talked about how it made us feel and what we saw when we closed our eyes. We discussed how music can make us feel different emotions, fast music can make us happy, slow music can make us sad. Miss Garland then put on a piece of music, we had to listen to it and draw what we thought a picture might look like associated with this music. Lots of us drew thunder storms and rain!
In week 2, we looked at the different sounds we can make with our bodies, clicking, clapping and slapping our knees. We played some games to see if we can keep the beat. After we had a look at percussion instruments and played them along to ‘Golden’ (our favourite song).
