P1 Nursery Rhyme Party

We celebrated the end of our topic ‘ Rhyme Time’ with the tradition of a party . The girls and boys all came dressed as their favourite nursery rhyme character . They looked wonderful . We had to guess what rhyme we were each out of and we each recited our favourite rhyme. Mrs Bogue read us a special story called ‘ The great nursery rhyme disaster’ .We had lots of fun playing duck , duck goose , musical statues and twister . P1 had worked up quite an appetite after playing party games and enjoyed a scrumptious feast of cake , spider sweets and crisps. We finished our party by throwing and catching balloons . Such a fun day we had !
