P1 weekly roundup 💫

The girls and boys in P1 have enjoyed a super week of learning and fun. We started a new topic called ‘ Into the Woods’ and had to guess what our special story was from clues. Our special story is ‘ Goldilocks and the Three Bears’ . In play we designed the setting of the story , organised the rooms of the three bears cottage and set up our role play area as the three bears cottage . We love using our own ideas in play . A few girls and boys decided they wanted to make a great big daddy bear in play . We brainstormed the materials we needed and how we would make him. We also had our first Roots of Empathy lesson with Mrs Neely . We are so excited to learn that a baby will be visiting us and teaching us about our feelings . We used the tactile equipment in PE this week to develop our balance.
