P2 - Outdoor Play

Today we explored the outdoors fully in Play.
P2 began by completing the outdoor weather board in our outdoor classroom. Our topic is Healthy Me and we have been focusing on the book 'Oliver's Vegetables.'
Today we dug up our very own vegetables. One of the P2 children brought a carrot into the school kitchen for the cooks to use when preparing the school dinner.
We picked raspberries from our very own raspberry bushes. We talked about the book 'Oliver's Fruit Salad' and we are so looking forward to making a fruit salad.

The P2 children filled up the water tray using water from the water butt and we even washed our hands using this water before eating snack outdoors.
