Today in P2 to compliment our topic of hot and cold, we boarded Johnnys bus to the Planetarium in Armagh. On arrival we enjoyed our school snack. Then our guide brought us to the Show Dome. We really enjoyed the movie we were shown and we learnt A LOT about the different planets in our solar system, the different temperatures, sizes, and what each is made up of.
Our next adventure was creating our very own badges, which we would put on our own astronaut suit👩🚀. Our guide then brought us to the exhibition centre and told us all about what it would be like to be an astronaut and what you have to do whilst living in the space centre that orbits the earth. From here were enjoyed interactive games, dressing up and touching a real meteorite.
After lunch, we thanked our guide, boarded Johnnys bus 🚌, and we sang the whole way home...Mrs McConkey brought her boom box and took requests.
P2 boys and girls were a delight to bring out for the day. We all had great fun 😊
