Today it was the P2s turn to visit their friends in St Ronans. We arrived to a warm welcome from Ms Power and her
lovely classroom assistants.
We were very excited to see their assembly hall all set up for us. Their new topic is ‘New Life’ , after an explanation of all the different play areas, which included a Garden Centre, a potting wheelbarrow where we planted seeds into pots, a station were we decorated our pots with faces and planted cress seeds which will soon become their hair, a station for creating flowers out of Lego, play dough and a drawing table with potted plants on that gave us inspiration for drawing flowers. We really enjoyed playing around the different stations. 🌺🌸🌼🌻🪷🪻🥀🌹🌷💐
Ms Power had organised a delicious treat for us, fresh fruit and a cool drink to enjoy. Before we boarded our bus back to The Moat Primary, Ms Power had one more treat for us, she invited us to their classroom to show us a very special set up, an incubator with eggs in it. She had really hoped that the eggs would have hatched for our arrival but alas not just yet, she has promised us that when the chicks do hatch she will bring them up to show us in our classroom. 🤗 We will be very excited to see Ms Power and her little visitors. 🐣🐥🐣🐥🐣🐥
