P2 enjoyed a fabulous Shared Education experience at The Palace Stables in Armagh with their friends from St Ronans. They enjoyed their school snack together in the stables where we were joined by our hosts Paul and Sylvia.Then our Story telling adventure began, our hosts walked with us to the Bishop’s church were we were greeted by ‘Pip and Pop’, who met us all dressed up in period costumes, they told us there was no such thing as computer games or televisions and there entertainment came from stories and using their own imagination to play games.
We enjoyed listening to ‘Goldilocks, 3 Bears, Tiny Tim and we sang along to Tiny Tim.’ These stories and songs were interactive. Pip and Pop made this experience a lot of fun.
After our story time we enjoyed our lunch all together, Paul and Sylvia set up a craft session where we enjoyed creating our own characters from ‘Goldilocks and the 3 Bears.’ Paul read the story to us and we used our props to give the story a wonderful interactive feel.
