The boys and girls in P2/3 were very excited arriving to school this morning. They were going to Devenish College to enjoy their Pantomime of Dick Whittington and His Cat. We boarded the big school bus 🚌 and off we went, we were greeted by members of Devenish College staff and we took our seats for the show.
The auditorium lights dimmed and the show began, we were immersed into the setting of Enniskillen with lots of different landmarks from the town and surrounding areas visible on the stage. We sang when prompted, we clapped and we each adored all the visual aspects of the show. The cast brought this fun tale to life with lots of fun and energy. The boys and girls really enjoyed the addition of their favourite pop songs and dance moves and we believe we won the singing competition! We were without doubt the choir with the most volume 🤣 After our half time refreshments there were a number of Santas on stage…one looked very familiar 🤔 non other than our very own Miss Garland! She delighted the boys, girls and staff from the Moat Primary and other schools with her dance moves…and yes she won the Santa with the most support! Fantastic!
A wonderful morning enjoyed by us all. We boarded our buses back to school, just in time for our delicious lunch. Thank you to everyone involved.
