P3 pupils parents were invited into school on Thursday evening to learn all about the Paired Reading Scheme. The boys and girls are each invited to the school library to choose a book, this book is to be read with their parents or family members each evening at home. They have a booklet to fill out with their thoughts of the book, what they enjoyed most and if they would recommend the book to their classmates. Each week the boys and girls will be invited to the school library to return their book by scanning them in and choosing a new read and scanning them out. They enjoy this process finding a book they are interested in and finding their own library scan cards. Thank you for taking the time to support your children, they really enjoy when their parents get to visit their school and classrooms.
