To celebrate World Book Day, P5 were given the opportunity of going to the library.
One of the librarians, showed P5 how to use the library. They were shown where children’s fiction and non-fiction books are stored, also where the adults books are.
The P5’s took part in a scavenger hurt around the library. They looked for letters that join together to make a phrase. The phrase was World Book Day 2026.
Finally the children were given the chance to look at the books and see which ones they wanted to loan from the library. 📚
