P5/6 Archaeological Dig

The children all enjoyed taking part in the dig at Lisdoo which is thought to have been the main residence of the Maguire Lords before they moved to where the early seventeenth century Castle Balfour was later built.  They found some flint, cooked bones and some quartz.
