P7 Learning all about the nets of 3D shapes.

24th Nov 2021

Today P7 discovered the number of nets a 3D shape can have. For instance, a cube has no less than 11 nets! The children were all provided with a number of interlocking 2D shapes and were tasked to make as many nets as possible of the following shapes: cubes, hexagonal prisms and square-based pyramids. It was a brilliant, educational activity.
