P7 loving the new pitch during first PE lesson of the school year!

P7 had the good fortune of being the first class to use the new pitch. They had a PE lesson, which consisted of a circuit of exercises. These ranged from catching and throwing balls using various techniques; bouncing a small ball on a ping pong bat whilst walking; kicking a ball to a partner followed by quickly touching a cone before your partner kicks the ball back; passing a rugby ball whilst running in a line of 4; running over small hurdles followed by precision footwork through hoops on the ground. To say the P7 were a bit out of puff afterward, would be a bit of an understatement.
