We are delighted to let you know that we are beginning our journey towards the Rights Respecting Schools Award , supported by UNICEF UK.
This award is based on the United Nations Convention on the rights of the Child ( UNCRF) , which sets out the rights that all children are entitled to, including the right to be safe , to learn , to be heard and to play.
Over the coming months , your child will be learning about their rights in an age appropriate way. This will be done through class discussions , stories and activities that promote our values of respect and kindness .
We will keep you updated on our progress .
