P3/4 had great fun taking part in a science experiment today. We had to help blue the dragon rescue some Princes from some ice. We had to think of different ways to melt the ice. After lots of discussion we decided to use warm water, salt, tinfoil, a hairdryer, sugar and body heat to melt the ice. Each group picked one idea to try. We then predicted which method would melt the ice the fastest. Most people thought the hairdryer would melt the ice the quickest. Everybody then set out to try and free the Prince. We discovered that the warm water was the quickest way to melt the ice.
