P4,5,6 and 7 were delighted to have the opportunity to listen to the amazing Ulster Orchestra at the Lakeland Forum this morning. They learnt about all the different sections of an orchestra and the instruments involved in each section. They also learnt about the 6 different components involved in making a piece of music. The six components were tempo, melody, bass lines, scales, rhythm and harmony. The children were able to identify and name many of the pieces the orchestra played.
