Since today is the 80th anniversary of Victory in Europe Day and our current topic is World War 2 our class celebrated the day by coming to school dressed in 1940s style clothes. The children looked fantastic. There was a special VE assembly led by Mrs McElwaine and Mrs Black. The the importance of remembering this special day was discussed. Afterwards the children played war time games and they did war time related activities.
